I think these JV girls deserve more recognition for there hard work for a winning record, They may not have the speed and experience as varsity but none the less they worked hard this season and it always seems the get the short end of the stick.
I don't know about the "short end of the stick" but I'd agree that these girls have played their hearts out every game and have come a long way in one season. Their excellent record reflects that progress. To have our JV playing this well shows the depth of the Harrisonville soccer program.
One of the reasons I started this blog was because you rarely see soccer mentioned in the local paper. (I've seen at least two photos and articles so far this season but there may have been more) If you do, it is almost always varsity games and they hardly mention the JV if at all. In the paper's defense, there are so many spring sports and so few pages. It is just something you become accustomed to as a soccer fan.
